ENG 111 and ENG 232 Evening Classes

I’m very sorry, but I will not be in class tonight. Also, I’m sorry for the late post. I was trying to make it, but I will not be able to.

So, what we will do is push everything we would have been working on tonight back to Thursday night.

Contact me if you have any questions.

It’s About Time

Well, it’s been a week and a day since the semester started. Everyone should be subscribed and receiving updates. So, now’s the time to start becoming familiar with how we will use the site.

There really isn’t any new information on here for today. This is more of a test to see if everyone is paying attention. As a matter of fact, I’m not even going to mention it in class. I’ll just look at the statistics on the amount of visits.

By the way, in one class there was some confusion about the schedule for next Tuesday. Remember: the college is closed Monday. TUESDAY WILL RUN AS SCHEDULED.

So, to become familiar with how we will operate, visit our class site HERE. Then, find your class tab up in the top right of the header. Under the tab you will find information for your class.

Welcome to the Fall 2008 Semester!

Well, here we go again with a brand spanking new semester. I hope everyone had a great summer and is now ready to get back to work.

For those of you who have had me before, you know what this is about. For new students, welcome to your class website.

This is where you will find pertinent information you will need and find useful throughout the semester. This first thing you need to do is subscribe to the RSS feed. Just click on the big orange button in the top righthand corner and enter your email address.

IMPORTANT: After entering your address, check your email. There you will find a message with a confirmation link. Click that link. Now, you will receive a message anytime this site is updated.

I suggest you check your email regularly (i.e. daily). I also suggest you use the email address provided to you by the college. You can do that HERE. Your email address is firstinitiallastnamelastthreedigitsofstudentid@student.richmondcc.edu. Your password is the same as the username. You can change it after you have accessed your email.

EXAMPLE: My name is Jay Wagers and my student id is 048921.

Email Address: jwagers921@student.richmondcc.edu

Username: jwagers921

Password: jwagers921 (until I change it)

Also, you will find your course syllabus link in the left sidebar under Important Links.

That’s it for now.
